These quilts are made utilizing my hand-dyed fabrics. Images are printed onto cheesecloth and embellished.
Large-scale needle-felted, handpainted silk tussah, machine quilted. Overall and Detail. There is a picture of me with my quilt at IQF Houston.

This is a block I did for the State Fair in Aug. 2008
I love mandalas and I love to make them. They are very special, particulary the tibetian ones. Next year I will teach a 4-days workshop about appliqué and how to use this technique for making mandalas.
